Just hours following Hezbollah's claim of downing an Israeli drone over Lebanon, reports emerged of Israeli airstrikes hitting the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon in the early hours of April 4.
According to sources within Lebanese security forces, the strikes specifically targeted a Hezbollah training camp situated in Janta village near the Syrian border.
Although casualties were not confirmed, one of the strikes was reported to have struck Safri town, near the city of Baalbek in the east.
