Legendary Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, in the last few months of her third and final term, arrives at a lucky poker chip presentation in the Oscar B.
Goodman Plaza (her husband of 62 years) at Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S.
Main St., with strains of Elvis Presley and glamorous Las Vegas showgirls.
Her chip, featuring photos of former Mayor Oscar Goodman and her on flip sides, will become a permanent part of the new Civic Plaza development, as it will be included in the final concrete pour scheduled for the early morning hours on April 4, 2024.
Mayor Goodman was joined by City Manager Mike Janssen, city officials and the showgirls to celebrate this construction milestone.
No wonder she loves the job!
