[The Conversation Africa] Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a leading cause of death around the world. It's also one of the top risk factors causing in premature death and disability. And it's more common in sub-Saharan Africa than anywhere else in the world: 46% of the region's adults over the age of 25 have hypertension.
