Africa: Nearly a Quarter Million Active Covid-19 Cases Across Continent

[allAfrica] As of October 16, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries have reached 1,613,144. Reported deaths in Africa have reached 39,089, and recoveries 1,329,652. To date, 244,401 cases are currently active and 15,311,543 tests have been administered.
