Soap Box Derby canceled over coronavirus fears in a blow to Akron economy

International Soap Box Derby has canceled this year’s FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby to protect participants’ health during the coronavirus pandemic. The event had been scheduled for July 25 at Derby Downs in Akron, Ohio.
