Hawaii to launch Covid-19 pre-testing program for travelers starting Aug. 1

Starting Aug. 1, travelers will have the option to get tested for Covid-19 prior to arriving in Hawaii as an alternative to the 14-day mandatory quarantine, Gov. David Ige announced Wednesday. “This allows travelers to return and allows us to continue to protect the health and safety of our community,” Ige said during a press conference.
