A London open-source software company has agreed to acquire a fast-growing Cupertino startup, reportedly for more than $600 million. CNBC cited unnamed sources on the price that SUSE, a Linux distribution company controlled by private equity firm EQT, is paying for Rancher Labs Inc. Rancher Labs' technology makes it easier for enterprises to make container clusters used in software development.
