Fast-growing Bay Area software startup scooped up, price pegged north of $600M

A London open-source software company has agreed to acquire a fast-growing Cupertino startup, reportedly for more than $600 million. CNBC cited unnamed sources on the price that SUSE, a Linux distribution company controlled by private equity firm EQT, is paying for Rancher Labs Inc.
