Remembering civil rights icon C.T. Vivian's legacy and impact: 'A mighty oak has fallen'

The Rev. C.T. Vivian, a preeminent civil rights leader and pioneer of diversity training, died Friday at his home in Atlanta at the age of 95. Vivian was a Baptist minister and close advisor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., leading boycotts of businesses and sit-ins at lunch counters throughout segregated cities in the south.
