Tietto Minerals Ltd (ASX:TIE) has received high-grade gold results which have extended the Abujar-Gludehi (AG) deposit at depth and are expected to expand the existing 2.2 million-ounce resource at Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Results have been received from the first of five deep diamond holes at AG which have extended the deposit below 500 metres vertical depth. The best results are 3 metres at 10.78 g/t from 537 metres, including 1-metre at 25.94 g/t, and 6 metres at 4.47 g/t from 553 metres, including 2 metres at 11.64 g/t. Open at depth Tietto managing director Dr Caigen Wang said: “I am pleased to report the high-grade gold core at AG is very much open at depth, with assay results from the first hole drilled in our AG Deeps program intersecting multiple levels of high-grade gold mineralisation downhole. “The AG deep hole drilling program has pushed the high-grade core at AG down to more than 500 metres below surface (on section 19B) with the high-grade gold intervals located 170 metres down dip of the November 2019 resource model. “Our diamond drill teams have now completed three of the five diamond holes (up to 650 metres downhole) designed to test the extents of the high-grade core at AG down to 550 metres vertical and over a 650 metres strike length. Further results are expected in the coming weeks.” Resource update pending The company believes the results demonstrate the gold mineralised system’s continued growth. Dr Wang said: “I am proud of the skill and teamwork displayed by our site exploration team as we push the limits to drive rapid resource growth from this large high-grade gold deposit at an extremely low discovery cost. “As previously stated, we remain on track for another resource update for Abujar in September 2020.” Oblique cross section showing latest drill results at AG  Diamond drilling program Tietto diamond drilling at AG is part of a 50,000-metre campaign across Abujar projects, testing the extension of the high-grade core. The company has reported nearly 40 high-grade intercepts over 50 gold gram metres, and more than 1,800 samples are at the lab with assay results expected soon. Tietto is continuing with additional programs of work until the resource cut-off date at the end of August 2020. Five diamond drill rigs are active on the below targets: AG – extending high-grade core (19.3 million tonnes at 2.2 g/t for 1.38 million ounces); AG South – shallow high-grade gold mineralisation directly south of AG; APG – extension to shallow oxide resource 7 kilometres south of AG, and; GGL (from AG to Gamina) – directly north of AG with extensive artisanal workings. The company remains well funded to deliver project milestones during 2020.
