Maryland restaurants can increase indoor dining capacity to 75% starting at 5 p.m. Monday, with the permission of local leaders, Gov. Larry Hogan announced late Friday. Hogan's announcement comes as the state gets ready to celebrate the first-ever Maryland Restaurant Week and a few days after Restaurant Association of Maryland President Marshall Weston called on officials to increase indoor dining capacity in order to avoid a sharp drop in customers as the weather gets colder.
