Raleigh, Durham drop from top 10 on U.S. News & World Report's annual 'Best Places to Live' ranking (Slideshow)

The Triangle has dropped out of the top echelon in an annual ranking of the best places to live in the U.S. while Charlotte has shot up the charts. The Raleigh and Durham area sits at No. 11 in U.S. News & World Report's 2020-2021 "Best Places to Live" list, one spot off from its No. 10 ranking last year and just ahead of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
