Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses help SpringCity Energy to boost output by 40%

Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI) announced Tuesday that SpringCity Energy has started using its Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses to perform onsite inspection and maintenance, including remote technical support and on-the-job training to service solar and renewable energy customers in Australia. The Rochester, New York-based company said that SpringCity Energy, an engineering company in the power and energy industry, has deployed its Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses to train junior technicians from the comfort of an office instead of peering over their shoulders. Vuzix said that with the Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses, engineering staff can now be trained remotely and provided hands-free setup and guidance for new equipment activations in the field. “SpringCity Energy technicians can now train multiple junior technicians each day, which has resulted in significant cost savings,” said the company.
