Asian shares mostly higher after slight gains on Wall St

Shares are mostly higher in Asia after Wall Street benchmarks clawed back some losses from their worst week since early December. U.S. futures inched lower and oil prices advanced. Benchmarks rose in Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai but fell in Hong Kong and Mumbai. The S&P 500 rose 0.3% Monday, just its second gain in the last seven days. The Dow and the Nasdaq also rose. Analysts have raised forecasts for how high the Federal Reserve will take interest rates and how long it will keep them there given that inflation and much of the overall economy have remained more resilient than expected.
