CCTV footage from hospital where Hathras victim was first taken is ‘lost’

The CBI team investigating the alleged gang-rape and murder of the 19-year-old Dalit girl from Hathras reached the district hospital, where she had been first taken, and found that crucial evidence they were looking for was not there. The CCTV footage from September 14, the day the girl was brought in, was not backed up. The hospital said the police didn't ask for it earlier.
