Covid-19: India logs 10,423 new cases, lowest in 259 days; active caseload hits 250-day low

India has registered 10,423 new Covid-19 cases and 443 deaths in the last 24 hours, a government bulletin released on Tuesday stated. The number of daily new cases was the lowest in 259 days, as per government data. The current recovery rate in India is 98.21%, the highest since March 2020. India's active caseload at present stands at 1,53,776, the lowest in 250 days.
