India reports 10,549 new Covid-19 cases, active cases rise to 1.1 lakh

India on Thursday reported 10,549 daily new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the country's case tally to 3,45,55,431, the Union health ministry said. The death toll due to Covid-19 rose to 4,67,468 with 488 people succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours, the health ministry release stated.
