India reports 10,229 new Covid cases, 9.2% lower than yesterday

India recorded 10,229 fresh Covid-19 cases and 125 deaths in the last 24 hours. The daily rise in new Covid-19 infections has been below 50,000 for 141 days. The active caseload stands at 1,34,096, according to the health ministry data, which is the lowest in nearly 523 days.
