India reports 7,495 new Covid-19 cases; country's Omicron tally stands at 269

India has reported 7,495 new cases of Covid-19 and 434 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry bulletin on Thursday stated. India, as per the bulletin, has reported 269 cases of Omicron variant so far. The ministry also said 104 Omicron patients have so far recovered. India's active caseload currently stands at 78,291.
