India reports 30,615 new cases, 11% higher than yesterday

India on Wednesday reported 30,615 fresh Covid infections in a span of 24 hours, a marginal rise from 27,409 cases reported on the previous day, said the Union health ministry. This took the country's tally of Covid-19 cases to 4,27,23,558, while the active cases dipped to 3,70,240. Also The daily Covid-19 cases were recorded less than one lakh for ten consecutive days.
