Uttarakhand ready to launch tours to Adi Kailash

In the wake of the construction of a highway near the Indo-Tibet border in Uttarakhand which is expected to be completed by next year-end, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN), the nodal agency for tourism activities in the Kumaon region, on Thursday announced that it had entered into an arrangement with a Noida-based travel firm to start tour packages for pilgrims who wish to undertake the Adi Kailash yatra.
