India reports 625 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours; active caseload declines to 14k

India reported 625 new Covid-19 cases - the lowest since April 9 - 2020, in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry data. With this, the country's total tally of coronavirus cases rose to 4,46,62,141. No death was reported in the last 24 hours in first such instance since March 2020, the Union health ministry said on Tuesday.
