Fresh rain, snow in Char Dham dists from May 23

The higher reaches of the Char Dham districts, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi, are likely to receive fresh spells of snowfall and the plains, foothills and low-lying areas of the state can expect light to moderate showers, as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted another strong western disturbance is likely to hit western Himalayan region, including Uttarakhand.
