Odisha train crash: Railways’ probe will have no bearing on CBI investigation

A “preliminary conclusion” on the cause of the Balasore train crash that led to 275 deaths will take “at least two days” to emerge, commissioner of railway safety (south eastern circle) Anant M Chowdhury said as he began his inquiry Monday while stressing his probe will have no bearing on the “parallel” CBI probe.
