Hemesh Chadalavada, a 16-year-old from Hyderabad, has developed a smart wristband called 'AlphaMonitor' to assist elderly individuals with dementia. The device monitors the patient's gait, posture, body temperature, pulse, and can detect falls. It also includes an alarm system that notifies caregivers in case of accidents or wandering. Hemesh's dedication and hard work have earned him accolades, including the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar.
