Sardar Patel's role in uniting India not allowed to be highlighted: Rajnath Singh's veiled dig at Congress

The Central government has been observing October 31 as 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' or National Unity Day since 2014. Singh emphasized the importance of Sardar Patel's role in uniting princely states after Independence. He flagged off the 'Run for Unity' event.
