8 yrs later, wedding invite leads police to murder accused

A murder accused who had been missing for over eight years was apprehended by the Cuddalore district police after receiving a clue from a wedding invitation. The man, identified as K Ganesh, had been assumed to be dead by his relatives. However, his name was prominently mentioned in the invitation without any indication of his demise. The police tracked his location through the mobile phones of his family members and arrested him in Nagari, Andhra Pradesh. Ganesh had been charged with murdering a mess owner in 2014.
