Special forces of India, US kicks off drill in Meghalaya

India and the US have begun the 'Vajra Prahar' combat exercise in Meghalaya, aimed at enhancing military interoperability between their special forces. The exercise will involve joint planning and execution of special operations, and counter-terrorism in mountainous terrain. The US has deployed personnel from the 1st Special Forces Group, while the Indian team is led by Para commandos. This exercise is the 14th edition of the Vajra Prahar series and aims to share best practices between the two countries.
