Process for filing nominations for elections in Karanpur starts

Filing nominations for the Karanpur assembly seat elections in Rajasthan will start on Tuesday, according to Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta. The election for this seat was deferred due to the death of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar. The nomination process will begin on December 12, allowing candidates to submit their papers until December 19. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on December 20, and voting will be held on January 5, with counting on January 8.
