The construction of a 1.6-km-long bridge over the Yamuna river for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transport System (RRTS) corridor is complete. This bridge, almost parallel to the DND flyover, connects the RRTS stations of Sarai Kale Khan and New Ashok Nagar. The total length of the bridge is 1.6 km, with 626 meters built on the river and the rest over the Khadar area. This bridge is the 25th to be built in the 22-km stretch of the Yamuna river from Wazirabad barrage to Okhla barrage.
