Anti-women stand of BJP bared: Opposition

The Supreme Court's judgment quashing Gujarat government's decision to grant remission to 11 rape convicts in the Bilkis Bano case has exposed BJP's "real" anti-women "chaal, charitra and chehra", Congress said on Monday, a sentiment echoed by the bulk of the opposition including TMC, NCP and National Conference. Rahul said, "The tendency to 'murder justice' for electoral gains is dangerous for a democratic system. Today, the SC's decision once again showed the country who gives 'patronage to criminals'."
