Lok Sabha polls: ECI organises 2-day conference with Chief Electoral Officers of States, UTs

The Election Commission of India began a two-day Conference with the Chief Electoral Officers of all States and Union Territories to review preparedness for the Lok Sabha elections. The conference is being held in New Delhi and will focus on the preparedness for the upcoming general elections. The BJP won a record 303 seats in the 2019 general elections, while the Congress managed only 52 seats. With just six months remaining until the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, political parties have already started launching campaign plans.
