Now, MoS Shantanu Thakur says CAA rollout process to start in a week

Junior Union minister Shantanu Thakur adjusted the previously stated seven-day deadline for implementing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, pending since 2019. He declared that the process of its execution would commence within a week. “Earlier, I had spoken about CAA implementation in a week. Now I am saying that the process will be completed within a week,” Shantanu Thakur said.
