Turkish Cypriot President to gather with Turkey�s President over talks on Cyprus issue

(MENAFN)Ahead of informal discussions in Geneva on the Cyprus issue, Turkish Cypriot President Ersin Tatar is going to gather with Turkey�s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara. In a cabinet assembly that Tatar chaired for the first time since taking office in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), he made the declarations. He further stated that the two leaders are going to assess the new policy of Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot side of a two-state solution and collaboration related to sovereign equality on the island. The informal Geneva discussions will take place from April 27-29 with the presence of the guarantor countries including Turkey, Greece and the UK under the leadership of the UN.
