Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that first regional office affiliated to World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has been inaugurated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the presence of the UNWTO Secretary-General, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Khateeb and regional tourism ministers and industry leaders. Saudi Arabia through its ambitious vision 2030, inaugurated a number of megaprojects, especially in tourism in order to achieve blue chip investments and strong economy, the paper added. Such unprecedented achievements will make Saudi Arabia the most important destination for tourists and investors in the world and global pioneer in this field, the further added. The goals of inaugurating UNWTO regional office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia support tourism initiatives in the region and to achieve long-term growth for this vital sector of economies, in addition to promoting tourism products and their sustainable development, the paper concluded. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that protecting all the people living in its territories is firm approach in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 'strategies since its establishment until this prosperous era. In this regard, Saudi Arabia has exerted unprecedented efforts to confront COVID-19 Pandemic and to maintain the safety and health of all, the paper added. Saudi Arabia has implemented precautionary and preventive measures that ensure the safety of citizens and residents and contribute to mitigating the economic and financial implications, the paper further added.
