Egyptian President Receives Minister of Commerce

(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Cairo, June 17, 2021, SPA -- The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdelfattah El-Sisi, received here today the Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Qassabi conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to President El-Sisi, stressing the strength of the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and Egypt's pivotal regional role for security and stability in the Arab world. In turn, President El-Sisi sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, stressing the strong historical relations between the two brotherly countries at all levels, and Egypt's firm position in supporting the security and stability of the Kingdom, considering them as parts of Egypt's national security. During the meeting, they emphasized full support for enhancing the movement of intra-trade and joint investment projects between the two countries in various development fields, in order to achieve the common interests of the two countries, and the keenness on continuous communication with Saudi investors to support their investments in Egypt, and the role played by the Saudi-Egyptian Business Council to increase communication and interaction between the businessmen in the two countries. They also reviewed available investment opportunities, new joint projects, the necessity to hold the joint committee periodically between the two sides to discuss ways to enhance economic, investment and trade relations between the two brotherly countries.
