Turkey's FM, allies share views on effective fight against Daesh/ISIS

(MENAFN)Turkey's foreign minister condemned any use of one terror group to fight another, highlighting the terrorist YPG/PKK in northern Syria, near Turkey�s border. In the ministerial assembly in Rome of the Global Coalition to Defeat Daesh/ISIS, Mevlut Cavusoglu further stated that "We drew attention to the wrongness of using another terrorist organization in the fight against a terrorist organization and the terrorist acts of the YPG/PKK in the region." Ankara slammed its NATO ally the US for holding up the terrorist YPG/PKK to fight Daesh/ISIS, describibg such support immoral in addition to pointless. Turkey tried to block the YPG/PKK's efforts to form a "terrorist corridor" near its southern borders. The PKK � listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US, and the EU � was responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants. The YPG is the PKK�s Syrian offshoot.
