US judge orders reopening of Massachusetts gun stores

A US federal judge handed the powerful gun lobby a victory Thursday when he decided that Massachusetts gun shops, closed under lockdown orders to slow the spread of the coronavirus, should be allowed to reopen. Like many of his counterparts, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker included gun stores on the list of "non-essential" businesses ordered to close their doors during the pandemic.
