OneDrive Sync for Apple Silicon Preview Now Available

Ever since Apple launched Apple Silicon in November 2020, developers out there have been working around the clock on getting their software ready for the new custom chip built by Apple. And Microsoft makes no exception, as the world’s number one software company has also tried to prepare its applications for the new M1 chip and therefore benefit from all the performance increases and the rest of the optimizations put together by Apple. Today, it’s the turn of OneDrive sync to make its debut on Apple Silicon, with Microsoft rolling out a new client that’s specifically aimed at the custom ARM chip.
