46th United States President Joe Biden one of youngest senators at age of 29 to oldest US prez at 78

Before becoming the 47th Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden represented Delaware state for 36 years in the US Senate. He has spent over five decades in Washington and has also served two terms in the White House as former US president Barack Obama's vice president. He has also been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction, which is the US' highest civilian honor.
