Humza Yousaf wins Scottish leadership race

Humza Yousaf has been elected as the new leader of the Scottish National Party, charged with boosting the faltering independence campaign. Yousaf, 37, becomes the first ethnic minority leader of a devolved government and the first Muslim to head a major UK political party. He was narrowly elected with 52% of members' votes, closely followed by finance minister Kate Forbes.
