Carolyn Bryant Donham, White Woman Who Claimed Emmett Till Whistled at Her, Has Died

Carolyn Bryant Donham , the white Mississippi woman whose accusation against Emmett Till began a chain of events that led to his brutal murder, has died. She was 88 years old. Ms. Donham died Tuesday, according to the Calcasieu Parish coroner’s office in Louisiana.
