New York To Throw Parade For US Women's National Team

The U.S. women’s national soccer team won the 2019 World Cup, beating the Netherlands 2-0.

According to Reuters, the team will be honored with a parade in New York City on Wednesday.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio wrote a tweet saying the team inspired the entire country with their win.

Four years ago, the team was honored with a parade in lower Manhattan when they won the World Cup.

This is the fourth Women’s World Cup victory for the U.S., winning in 1991, 1999 and 2015.
