Gonzaga prepares for another young, talented Pac-12 team

Whatever the washington 3 huskies brought against gonzaga on sunday...the bulldogs had an answer...we got an exciting, close game that went down to the wire...but we saw the zags force a more athletic team...to take tough shot...after tough shot...the reason why the dawgs stayed close...was because they were making those tough shots... It's not too surprising...becau se they've got some nba lottery picks on their roster...but there's a few reasons why gonzaga controlled the pace in that game...they weren't intimidated by u-w's 2-3 matchup zone that extends out to the milky way galaxy because their team is so long.

Killian tillie ...primarily.... Diced it up with passes from the high post and beyond the 3pt line....he had six assists...and mark few called him his 'problem solver' after the game...---- tillies three at the end was huge...but joel ayayi's was even bigger...and it worked because two husky defenders were in the middle of rotating...neither guy fully committing to ayayi...he recognized it...and pulled fear...the veteran poise game long will be essential this saturday...because the 15th ranked arizona wildcats are led by a very talented 6 foot eleven center, zeke nnaji....averaging about 15 points but shooting 71 percent from the floor...and two guards...nico mannion and josh green....but they're all freshmen...still figuring out how to win big, close games.

They've only faced one ranked team this year...and lost at number 18 baylor even though the zags have not won inside mckale center in their two tries...they'll chance to do it saturday...tipoff.
