Mayor finley, thanks for weighing in on that question.

Here's another one for you.

Other u.s. states and some cities including birmingham right here in alabama issue shelter in place orders.

Jim wants to know is there any chance of huntsville, madison, or the state of alabama generally issuing a lockdown?

>> mayor finley: there's absolutely a chance, will it happen?

We don't foresee that.

One of the things we continue to do is listen to adph and the cdc tell us what we need to do.

We defer to the health care authorities.

You know, birmingham is a perfect example of they started getting a lot of cases.

They chose to shut down a lot of activities there in addition to what the governor had already said.

In this area right now, were we to get that situation, where we felt like listening to adph or the cdc tell us that was in the best interest of our citizens, we would look to do that.

I haven't heard any plans whatsoever to do it right now.

But again, it's such a fluid situation that we're learning so much about and we're going the continue to do what's right for the community.
