City leaders look to reign in Metro’s spending due to tornado, COVID-19 pandemic

In a memo sent to Metro Nashville department heads, city leaders asked them to find spending unrelated to the March 3 tornado or COVID-19 and with cancel or defer it for the rest of fiscal year 2020.
