The Wok Star has been feeling the pinch like most other businesses, but its still making an effort to help those hit hardest.

Alicia says: the wok star, like many local restaurants and other food trucks is feeling the impact of covid-19 but what makes these guys different is they're pure generosity.

Russell evans owns wok star food truck and he's giving out free meals.

ánatsá it started with a post on the wok star facebook page.

He now says he's providing meals for 9 families and has served over 80 meals.

Russell says he's going to keep giving out meals to anyone in need as long as possible.

This is usually the busy season for food trucks with 75-percent of their income coming from the summer months.

Even though he's going through tough times, he still wanted to do something to share positivity.

Alicia says: so while this virus has created some hard times, it's also brouht out so much good as people work together to find a reason to smile.
