The last two weeks.

Now to a story of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Tonight -- a few houses in huntington county are acting as mini supermarkets.

They have food..

Drinks and supplies outside... for anyone to take... especially those dealing with hard times during this pandemic.

Fox 55's chris mullooly joins us live in huntington.

So chris... how did this all start?hunter..

I kept hearing the same thing over and over...'there was a need'whether they were the first ones..

Or the fifth ones.

It was all about neighbors helping neighbors... and helping those who needed it most.

This is the second table we put up actuallytwo tables..

After starting with a couple of cans.for courtney bonbrake... the decision to start the pantry was simple.i kept seeing it over and over its such a grea tidea so i thought lets just do itits on her front porch... signs from her kids hanging all around the home...saying take what you need give what you can.

We're both receiving patychecks so we want to make sure other families can have a little stress taken off their shouldersbonbrake and others around the county are creating their own mini marts...to get food and supplies without having any money coming in and not workingtamy slagel..

Saw a post on facebook in the huntington county neighbors helping neighbors group..and wanted to help in..

During a time she can't compare to any otherdepression with my grandparents coming up they went through hard times this is a little taste of what growing up back thenslagel and bonbrake have never met..

But say they have something in common...neighbors looking out for each other.bonbrake says the days are tough... working at the huntington hospital... but the need to reach out... check on each other... and help when you can...this is our time to step up our time to be superheroes its out time to shine if you do want to donate we'll have a list of the locations in huntington county on our story at w-f-f-t dot com.
