Relief could soon be coming to you in the form of a stimulus check.
It's part of the 2.2-trillion dollar "cares act."
A lot of you have contacted us with questions about who will get a check and when.
Waay 31's rodneya ross joins us this morning with a breakdown answering your questions.
The stimulus check could be coming to you in as soon as three weeks -- and the amount varies by income.
Here's a breakdown of the numbers: if you are a single adult making 75-thousand- dollars or less you will get a full 12-hundred dollar check.
That amount goes down the more money you make -- and if you make 99-thousand- dollars or more you will not get a check.
These payments are based on your 20-18 or 20-19 tax returns parents will receive a 500- dollar-dollar for each child 16-years-old and younger.
That amount phases out the more you earn.
And if you receive unemployment benefits -- you will continue to get your normal amount -- as well as an additional 600-dollars-per week for up to four months.
We've had a lot of you asking about social security benefits -- if you receive those -- you won't have to do anything at all.
You will automatically receive a payment.
