U-s-m's sanctions were- far less severe... with the - governing body- accepting the school's two- - - - previous self-imposed post- - season bans.- the golden eagles are finally - starting to see the light - at the end of the tunnel... wit- excitment building up to jay- ladner's second year... as head- coach.- more from southern miss... one- year ago today... which - marks the anniversary of jeremy- mc-clain's return, to - hattiesburg.- mc-clain had previously served- as u-s-m's deputy director of - athletics... before taking the- a-d position at troy, for - three-and-a-half years... and - then later accepting that same- position... back at u-s-m.- "if i'm going to come to a plac- i want to be committed to it.

- and that's what i'm going - to do here is being committed t- being here long-term.
