Not all doors are open

Strong without the gym.

While some businesses in iowa are being allowed to reopen.

Many places including hair salons will remain closed.

Kimt news 3's nick kruszalnicki is live in mason city with the george and katie?

The doors here at color couture are going to stay locked for a while longer and the salon's owner tells me she's okay with that.

Brenda adams says there are a lot of logistics which need to be figured out in order to let clients back into the chairs.

She's thinking about removing the waiting area in her salon, so clients aren't sitting next to each other.

Adams is also concerned about people from minnesota and iowa counties with more coronavirus cases flocking to her salon and increasing the chance of needless exposure.

While she has taken a big hit financially from the closures, she wants to keep everyone safe.

It's hard to think about what you're losing or what debt i might incur, not knowing how long this could last.

But when i think about people's safety.

I don't really care about any financial gain.

Adams also owns the space next door which they use as a banquet hall and with the lack of gatherings over ten people, that business has also been hit hard by the shutdowns.

Live in mason city, nick kruszalnicki, thanks nick.

Not only are salons staying closed in iowa, but theaters, casinos and tattoo parlors are also staying shut until further notice.
